The Guilded Age cottages of Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge and Pittsfield are historical and cultural treasures. This is a project to help preserve them and, in some instances, highlight them as tourist attractions.

The trip up and over Mount Greylock is often described in terms of enjoyment for its scenic and environmental qualities. BRPC has received funding for three implementation projects. These are basically to:

1982 Regional Energy Plan

Created largely in response to rising energy costs, the Regional Energy Plan examined the economic and environmental benefits of energy conservation. Although over twenty years old, many of the Plans observations and recommendations are still valid today.
