BRPC Geographic Information System (GIS)

Municipal and Regional Services offered by BRPC:

• Data development: Digitizing or scanning base maps
• Technical assistance regarding GIS needs assessment (hardware and software)
• Map production from State and custom data sets for both public and private groups
• GIS management and services for local town governments and agencies

GIS Outsource Planner:

BRPC can be hired to provide technical assistance to a community for implementing and updating their GIS. This involves the GIS Coordinator working one day a week in the community. The Town of Adams is currently utilizing this service to assist in the maintenance of their GIS along with designing databases that interface with the GIS and make work more efficient.
