Clearinghouse Review Committee The
Clearinghouse Review Committee reviews regionally significant development projects, generally projects requiring state or federal environmental permits (generally those required under the Massachusetts Environmental Policy
Act, or MEPA) for potential regional impacts and compliance with adopted regional plans. The committee consists of at least five (5) members. The committee advises the Commission or the Executive Committee regarding recommendations and conditions which should be requested before a given project or action is approved or denied by state, federal, or local authorities. BRPC's role is advisory only. The next meeting of the
BRPC Clearinghouse Staff at BRPC are available to discuss any or all of these Clearinghouse Review projects. Contact Lauren Gaherty or Melissa Provencher at BRPC with questions or comments about BRPC's reviews. Copies of the project proposals are available for review at BRPC if not available through the MEPA website. Comments
for MEPA projects may be submitted electronically, by mail, via fax, or by hand delivery. Click
