The Berkshire MPO is seeking public comment on the Berkshire County Draft FFY 2024-2028 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is the prioritized, multi-year program for the implementation of federally funded transportation projects in Berkshire County. The TIP implements the region’s long-range transportation plan by programing federal-aid funds for transit, highway, bridge, transportation enhancements, bike paths, safety, and air quality improvements.

Comments are due by 5:00 PM on May 18, 2023 and should be addressed to the Berkshire Metropolitan Planning Organization/BRPC, 1 Fenn Street, Suite 201, Pittsfield MA 01201 or via email to info@berkshireplanning.org   The Berkshire MPO is tentatively scheduled to approve this document on May 23, 2023. The MPO meetings are at 4 PM.  This notice complies with the Berkshire Region MPO’s Public Participation Plan and satisfies the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority’s public participation process for the development of its Program of Projects.
