Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program
FY’24 HIGHWAY SUPPLIES & SERVICES
The Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program, acting on behalf of its participating members, invites bids for joint cooperative purchases for July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 for FY’24 Highway Supplies and Services.  Bid packages are available by request starting on May 8, 2023 by calling 413-442-1521 x 23, or by emailing grouppurchasing@berkshireplanning.org

Bids must be mailed and submitted to BRGPP c/o Berkshire Regional Planning Commission, Suite 201, Pittsfield, MA 01201, and received no later than Monday, May 22nd at 11 AM.  Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud.

Bids submitted must be sealed and clearly marked ‘BRGPP’ for each category, respectively: “FY24-01 Aggregates & Loam”; “FY24-02 Cold Patch”;“FY24-03 Calcium Chloride or Magnesium Chloride”; “FY24-04 Culverts”; “FY24-05 Guard Rail & Posts (Products Only Delivered)”; “FY24-06 Guard Rail & Posts (Products & Installation)”; “FY24-07 Line Painting”; “FY24-08 Road Crack Sealing”; “FY24-09 Stone Seal”; “FY24-10 Hot Mix Asphalt”; “FY24-11 Winter Rock Salt”; “FY24-12 Winter Sand”; “FY24-13 Treated Salt”; “FY24-14,15,16,17 Fuel Products”; FY24-18 Catch Basin and Line-Jetting, and “FY24-19 Tree Work”.

All bids for services are subject to the prevailing wage rates as per Mass. General Laws Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F inclusive and Chapter 30, Section 39M, and a 5% bid deposit is required, in the form of bid bond or certified check, unless specified in the bid package.

All Bidders must be pre-qualified by MassDOT for the following approved classes of work: “FY24-06 Guard Rail with an estimated value of $314,680; FY24-07 Pavement Markings with an estimated value of $445,034; FY24-08 Crack Sealing with an estimated value of $1,162,800; FY24-09 Pavement – Surfacing with an estimated value of $231,750; and FY24 Pavement – Surfacing (3) with an estimated values of $614,841; $465,000; $1,741,300.

As the awarding authority, the Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program and its participants reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in total or in part, and to take whatever action is deemed most favorable to the best interest of the participants.  Minority and woman-owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids.  All bids will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation or disability.  The Berkshire Regional Group Purchasing Program is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
