Thomas Matuszko is responsible for the overall operation of the agency under the direction of the Commission. Represents the agency with local, regional, state, and federal officials and agencies. Tom manages staff to ensure that the agency mission, as well as regional and local needs, are being met Tom oversees agency budget and finances.

Laura Brennan serves as BRPC's Assistant Director and also leads the Economic Development Planning Program, which includes working with municipalities on specific priorities and coordinating the CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) on a regional scale according to the federal EDA's requirements.

Marianne Sniezek oversees office management and human resource functions for the agency, supervising administrative staff and providing support to the Commission and its committees. She assists in the agency's financial management and reporting and development of BRPC personnel, operating policies, and procedures.

Directs accounting activities related to daily business operations. Processes payroll, prepares bill payments, manages accounts receivables, and prepares financial statements. Assists with the annual audit by an outside accountant.

Caitlin Davis is responsible for reception, mail, phone, website updates, writing, and coordinating monthly e-newsletter, minutes, and agendas for BRPC committees, and Program support as needed.

Alecia Herrick supports day-to-day financial transactions and office administration activities as part of BRPC's Administrative team.

Krystal Bartley serves as support staff for day-to-day Human Resources and Payroll operations as part of BRPC's Administrative team.

Cornelius (C.J.) Hoss manages the Community Planning and Community Development programs, supervising planning and development staff and managing program budgets. These program areas provide support for municipalities with regard to master plans, open space planning, zoning bylaws, shared services, and more.

Brett Roberts serves as planning staff for regional strategies in housing, working with communities to implement policy and regulatory changes, writing grants, community outreach, data collection, and overseeing work related to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administration.

Seth Jenkins serves as planning staff for land use and zoning projects, training, and technical assistance requests, and comprehensive planning such as master and open space and recreation plans, including implementation.

Andrew McKeever serves as planning staff for land use and zoning projects, training, technical assistance requests, and resource development with an emphasis on housing and digital equity planning.

Part-time project specialist responsible for preparing a feasibility analysis for a regional housing trust in south Berkshire County, and other items for the Community Planning program.

Dave Pill provides part-time staff support for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, including initial inspections, project management, and administrative tasks.

Mark Maloy manages GIS (Geographic Information System), data and information technology services at BRPC. Mark also manages the Berkshire Benchmarks program and accompanying website. Mark provides oversight of BRPC’s network, web page and computer hardware and software.

As Group Purchasing Coordinator, Rebecca assists 28 Berkshire County communities in purchasing products and services through a competitive bidding process that includes all aspects of MGL Chapter 30B bidding, such as Chapter 90 pre-qualification for MassDot projects and Highway products through the solicitation of bids for a variety heating and fuel products for municipal needs.

Karen Pelto coordinates the Berkshire Funding Focus (BFF) initiative to support Berkshire County entities seeking federal and state funds for pandemic-related recovery and rebuilding. Jimmy Hall supports Digital Navigation & Workforce Development Projects that provide digital skills training and outreach to improve internet adoption and workforce opportunities in rural communities across Berkshire County. The projects aim to build the confidence and skills of adults of all ages and abilities across our region to use computers and the internet.

Melissa Provencher manages the Environmental and Energy program, including the Berkshire Brownfields Program, supervising BRPC's Environmental and Energy staff and providing leadership and guidance on technical aspects of Environmental and Energy programs. Melissa develops and administers the Environmental and Energy Program budget.

Courteny Morehouse serves as a Principal Planner focused on projects related to municipal vulnerability preparedness, natural hazard mitigation, 604b and S.319 water quality programs, and NPDES stormwater requirements.

Sheryl Fernandez-Aubert assists communities and conservation organizations in creating a more sustainable and resilient Berkshire region. Sherdyl's primary focus is clean energy planning, including reducing energy use and identifying renewable energy opportunities, addressing natural hazards and climate change impacts, and protecting the natural environment.

Alison Dixon is a Senior Planner for the Environment & Energy Program. Alison provides BRPC staff support to local communities and conservation organizations for projects related to climate change and sustainability, natural hazard mitigation, nonpoint source pollution and stormwater, and the protection of the natural environment.

Britney Danials serves as planning staff focused on research, fieldwork, communication strategies for sustainability, energy opportunities, climate change impacts and natural hazards, and protecting the natural environment.

Jaymie Zapata serves as the Public Health Planning program manager and supports community- and equity-based projects, including Gray to Green, the Community Health Improvement Plan, Rural Health Equity Project, NEATC Hepatitis C work, and emergency preparedness projects.

Sandra Martin serves as a lead staff person for complex Public Health Projects, including emergency preparedness planning activities and support to the Berkshire Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coalition.

Andy Ottoson co-facilitates substance misuse prevention and overdose reduction programs at BRPC through the Berkshire Overdose Addiction Prevention Collaborative (BOAPC).

Aaron Holman-Vittone provides staff support for epidemiological research and analysis for the Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) and BRPC’s Public Health Program.

Anna Youngmann leads efforts to address the dual crises of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and behavioral health in northern Berkshire County, MA. Anna facilitates the North Berkshire HEAL Coalition, expanding access to treatment and recovery services, and driving education and communication initiatives to reduce stigma. Working with government, healthcare providers, first responders, people with lived experience, and community members, Anna guides a comprehensive, community-driven plan addressing prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery, and related social determinants of health.

Sophie Carnes Jannen supports Public Health education, wellness, and outreach to improve community health and health equity. Sophie assists with disease surveillance, vaccination clinics, and other wellness activities.

Laura Kittross advises the Public Health Program and provides leadership and guidance on technical aspects of public health projects.

Ed Fahey provides health agent and inspector services to Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) contracted municipalities. This full-time, off-site role includes supervising and coordinating additional inspectors.

Colin Sykes provides inspector services to Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) contracted municipalities, especially for food establishments. This is an off-site, full-time role.

Daniel Hassett provides staff support for environmental health inspections and helps develop the new local Public Health Excellence Training Hub. Dan specializes in local housing code and regulations. And is the point of contact for the Septic Installers Certification Program.

Jazu Stine provides staff support for environmental health inspections and helps develop the new local Public Health Excellence Training Hub. Specializes in local food code and regulations.

Valerie Bird provides health agent and inspector services to Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) contracted municipalities.

James Massey supports municipal boards of health by conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing technical assistance across Berkshire County. James also supports the Berkshire-Hampden Training Hub, completing DPH training and assisting with both classroom and hands-on training, as well as administration of the Training Hub.

Sasha Clapp is involved in planning and delivering public health outreach, training, and mentoring, as well as providing administrative support for the Training Hub. Sasha’s responsibilities include coordinating training, managing data and records, maintaining website content, and supporting Boards of Health, BRPC, and public health programs. Sasha also offers technical assistance to federal, state, regional, and local government agencies and may provide inspection services as needed.

Leslie Drager serves in a part-time, off-site role leading efforts to prevent disease, reduce the effects of preventable chronic diseases and premature death, and improve quality of life. On behalf of the Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) member municipalities, Leslie provides vaccination clinics, surveillance, disease and health event investigation, and case finding of reportable diseases.

Nancy serves as a part-time, off-site nurse working to prevent disease, reduce the effects of preventable chronic diseases and premature death, and improve quality of life. Duties performed on behalf of Berkshire Public Health Alliance (BPHA) member municipalities include vaccination clinics, surveillance, disease, and health event investigation and case finding of reportable diseases, and health education and wellness activities.

Clete Kus manages BRPC's Transportation Planning Program, supervising transportation planning staff and providing leadership and guidance on technical aspects of transportation planning projects. Clete develops and administers the Transportation Program budget.

Anuja Koirala serves as a Principal Planner for transportation planning projects involving highway projects and transit planning. Anuja is responsible for the development of the Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

Nick Russo serves as BRPC's lead staff person for regional transportation planning, including road condition pavement management, safety and performance measures, corridor planning, and bicycle and pedestrian planning.

Ryan Griffis serves as support staff for transportation planning efforts, including the Metropolitan Planning Organization, Safe Streets and Roads for All, Massachusetts's Clean Energy and Climate Plans, and Berkshire County's Electric Vehicle Charging Station Plan.
