Berkshire Benchmarks is a collaborative effort to provide regional data and analysis. The Data Clearinghouse provides a one-stop-shop for data about the region and is intended to assist decision makers, service providers, and others who need reliable data to inform their work. The Regional Indicators defines what we want for our future and then tracks progress in achieving these goals.

BRPC will develop a Slum & Blight Report for the Town of Adams. This report will look at building and infrastructure condition in the larger downtown area.

Provides the Town of Adams with a dedicated GIS Coordinator from the BRPC staff to perform part-time mapping services including the following activities: overall management of the towns GIS; development of maps for grant applications; mapping of existing town projects; updating of various town data layers.

The Berkshire Benchmarks program's website will be maintained with updated data and indicators, and a state of the county update for FY25 will be developed. Support for the continuation of Berkshire Benchmarks is through Berkshires Tomorrow.

Berkshire United Way provides funding to support the development of Berkshire Benchmarks, support BUW's strategic planning work, and provide support for their Community Impact work.

BRPC will work with the Collins Center at UMass Boston to develop incident maps for the communities in southern Berkshire County. These maps will look at ambulance response time and type of responder as part of the study.

BRPC is working with the other RPAs throughout the state to develop a common set of GIS standards for a Statewide Trail map. This project is managed through MAPC and funded by MassTrails.
