Flu Surveillance
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) produce weekly influenza surveillance reports:
- CDC Weekly U.S. Flu Report
- Massachusetts Weekly Flu Report | The dashboard is updated once per week on Thursdays.
Influenza viruses are constantly changing and the flu season typically occurs during the period from November through April. Annual influenza vaccinations are recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older.
