Community EMS - Age Friendly Berkshires

MA Department of Public Health - Office of Behavioral Health Promotion and Prevention

Community EMS–Age Friendly Berkshires (CEMS-AFB) is a countywide initiative that partners with emergency medical services, organizations supporting adults aged 60 and better, and behavioral health providers to help residents age safely and independently in their communities. The project reduces social isolation, promotes mental wellness, and connects residents to local health services and social support through a combination of peer-to-peer and EMS-based preventive outreach and education.
