This project supports the installation of a 948 square foot stormwater infiltration system in Pittsfield at the top of Francis Ave. The project will result in the treatment of 1,330,000 gallons of stormwater runoff and prevent 19.1 pounds of nitrogen from entering the West Branch Housatonic per year by capturing stormwater at the neighborhood scale. The project also fixes ongoing stormwater backup problems at the stairwell.
