Berkshire Regional Planning Commission will support the Town of Savoy with the replacement of the undersized and failing culvert on Old Main Road #4 over Phelps Brook, a cold-water stream. Building upon field work, design and engineering conducted in 2022 and 2025, this phase will move the culvert replacement project through final design and permitting to ready it for construction. This project is funded by the Massachusetts Department of Ecological Restoration Culvert Replacement Municipality Assistance Grant Program.
