We’ve all grown weary of quite a few phrases over the last year or so – social distancing, PPE, and Zoom etiquette, just to name a few – but a pandemic platitude that will be particularly good to see fade away is “pivot.” In practice, this is to turn or twist on one’s heel, only to return to the original position. If we are to emerge better than we were before, we should instead be focused on evolving, recognizing that as we adapt we improve. This has been the case for Berkshire Regional Planning
Commission (BRPC).
