The Massachusetts Select Board Association recently released the Select Board Handbook. Previously prepared as a printed version,  this version is a comprehensive on-line guide to the fundamentals of town government covering the full range of roles and responsibilities for Select Board members. Not only is it useful for Select Board members, but others will benefit from the easy to use and understand explanation of the functioning of town governments.
