The Berkshire MPO is seeking public comment on the following:

2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment- An amendment (2^nd amendment) has been proposed for the Transit Section of the TIP for the following: 1) Add 5307 RTA facility & vehicle maintenance funding – $400,000 2) Add 5339 funding for replacement buses (3) – $1,951,404 3) Add RTACAP funding for facility & vehicle maintenance funding – $100,000 4) Remove 5339 vehicle replacement funding – $399,007 5) Add RTACAP vehicle replacement funding – $388,099 6) Remove 5307 RTA facility & vehicle maintenance funding – $311,128 and 6) Remove RTACAP RTA facility & vehicle maintenance funding – $77,782.

Comments are due by 5:00 PM on March 27, 2023 and should be addressed to the Berkshire Metropolitan Planning Organization/BRPC, 1 Fenn Street, Suite 201, Pittsfield MA 01201 or via email to info@berkshireplanning.org The Berkshire MPO is tentatively scheduled to approve this amendment on March 28, 2023. The MPO meetings are at 4 PM at the BRPC offices. This notice complies with the Berkshire Region MPO’s Public Participation Plan and satisfies the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority’s public participation process for the development of its Program of Projects.
