The Berkshire MPO is seeking public comment on the following:
2021-2025 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment – (2nd amendment) has been proposed for project consisting of the following: 1) Project 606406, Hinsdale-Peru, Skyline Trail (Middlefield Road) to increase total project cost to $7,149,434; 2) Add $333,732 of Section 5339 funding for new bus purchase and facility maintenance.
FFY 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Amendment – An amendment has been proposed to reallocate $22,500 in funding between existing work tasks.

Comments are due by 5:00 PM on February 17, 2021 and should be addressed to the Berkshire Metropolitan Planning Organization/BRPC, 1 Fenn Street, Suite 201, Pittsfield MA 01201 or via email to info@berkshireplanning.org The Berkshire MPO is tentatively scheduled to approve this amendment on February 23, 2021. The virtual meeting link will be posted on BRPC’s website. This notice complies with the Berkshire Region MPO’s Public Participation Plan and satisfies the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority’s public participation process for the development of its Program of Projects.
