Unlocking Housing Production Listening Sessions

The Commission on Unlocking Housing Production seeks input from local communities for the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s first five-year strategic statewide housing plan. An in-person listening session will be held at Berkshire Community College, Wednesday, May 15, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Register HERE.

The Housing Advisory Council will develop a comprehensive housing plan including strategies for substantially increasing housing production, preserving and upgrading existing housing stock, supporting individuals and families struggling with homelessness, and using housing to create economic mobility for all.

Established through Executive Orders filed in conjunction with the Affordable Homes Act, the Housing Advisory Council and Commission on Unlocking Housing Production bring together a broad range of stakeholders from across Massachusetts to advise the Healey-Driscoll administration on strategies to address how state and local laws, regulations, and practices could be revised in order to increase the supply of affordable housing across income levels and the state.
