The Berkshire County COVID-19 Adaptation Fund provided grants to small for- and non-profit businesses in Berkshire County to address fixed debt, payroll, accounts payable, documented lost sales, other working capital expenses that could have been recognized had the COVID-19 pandemic not occurred. The fund will also consider applications from established non-profit organizations to support programs aimed at supporting individuals and groups of individual’s impact economically by COVID-19.
The Berkshire County COVID-19 Adaptation Fund is divided into two Sections:
Section A
This program will provide cash grants to small for-profit and non-profit businesses in Berkshire County to reimburse fixed debt, payroll, accounts payable, documented lost sales, and other working capital expenses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The focus of this program will be on small to medium sized businesses and organizations with a tiered system of maximum awards based on FTEs. Preference will be given to applications from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)-owned businesses.
Update: Applications to Section A are closed, recipients have been notified and unfunded applications will be reviewed only if additional funding for the program is secured.
Section B
This program will provide grants of up to $15,000 to established non-profit organizations to support technical assistance efforts directed at populations impacted economically by COVID-19.
