Monterey obtained funding from the Massachusetts Office on Disability to conduct an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, which establishes a roadmap to increase the accessibility of public buildings, parks, and services.

The evaluation identifies accessibility barriers, and the transition plan creates a prioritized timeline for the town to make improvements. The plan enables the community to apply for financial support to implement the established goals.
