Administration

Thomas Matuszko, AICP
Executive Director
Responsible for overall operation of the agency, under the direction of the Commission. Represents the agency with local, regional, state and federal officials and agencies. Manages staff to ensure that the agency missions, as well as regional and local needs, are being met and that adopted regional policies are complied with. Leads staff efforts on major regional initiatives on behalf of BRPC and oversees agency budget and finances.

Assistant Director & Economic Development Program Manager
Serves as the lead staff person for economic development planning which includes working with municipalities on specific municipal economic development actions and coordinating the CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) process according to the requirements of the Economic Development Administration.
Marianne Sniezek
Office Manager
Oversees office management and human resource functions for the agency. Supervises administrative staff. Provides support to the Commission and its committees. Assists in the agency financial management and reporting. Develops and implements BRPC personnel, operating policies and procedures.
Linda Ludwig
Principal Finance Administrator
Directs accounting activities related to daily business operations. Processes payroll, prepares bill payments, manages accounts receivable and prepares financial statements. Assists with audit by outside accountant.

Responsibilities include reception, mail, phone, website updates, writing and coordinating monthly e-newsletter, minutes and agendas for BRPC committees, and Program support as needed.

Community Development & Housing Program Manager
Manages the Community Development, Housing and Regional Services program. Provides leadership and guidance on technical aspects of Community Development, Housing and Regional Services program, including affordable housing initiatives, infrastructure projects and Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) projects. Develops and administers the Community Development, Housing and Regional Services program budget.

As Group Purchasing Coordinator: Assists 28 Berkshire County communities in purchasing products and services through a competitive bidding process that includes all aspects of MGL Chapter 30B bidding, such as Chapter 90 pre-qualification for MassDot projects and Highway products through the solicitation of bids for a variety heating and fuel products for municipal needs.

First point of contact for the Berkshire Public Health Alliance,  assisting boards of health in meeting their public health mandates. Assists Public Health staff in identifying funding opportunities, creating and maintaining the Alliance and Berkshire County Board of Health Associations programs.
