Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed to help count users on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail users on Saturday, September 6th and Tuesday, September 9th! Volunteers are asked to count trail users for two hour shifts at one of three locations: Berkshire Mall Road in Lanesborough, Farnam’s Road in Cheshire, and Russell Field in Adams. No experience is necessary. Volunteers will not be asked to interview trail users in any way. Please contact Christine Neumann via email, or 413-442-1521 ext. 16 for more information.
Berkshire Regional Transit Authority Survey
Berkshire Regional Planning Commission has been retained by the BRTA to assess the BRTA’s bus service and provide recommendations for improvement. Part of this study involves the feasibility of various methods of optimizing bus service, including identifying alternate routes, coordinating with shift changes, and reducing wait times.
BRPC is collecting data from both BRTA riders and non-riders to evaluate BRTA service. Your help is needed! Please fill out a BRTA Survey to provide us with your input on BRTA bus route service. The
